The chocolate problem

This is Hayden's first go at making something that shows how he solved a problem.

Which kids will I join to get the biggest share of chocolate? (block of 6 pieces)

1 kid - 1 block

2 kids - 2 blocks

or 3 kids - 3 blocks

What do you think the answer will be?
I did the video back to front with 3 kids first

I think I'll go with 3 kids and 3 blocks of chocolate because we'll get 4 1/2 pieces each.

  1. I like the way you have used the blocks to prove your thinking. When you make your next video, try and end by summarising your thinking so the person wAtching knows which chocolate option gives you the most. I can't wait to see more of your learning videos, Hayden and William.

  4. I like how you used brown blocks for the chocolate and had one of the people as you. Would you rather the chocolate be real? please visit my blog at http://lakebrunnerzakk.blogspot.co.nz/

  7. Hello, my name is Lakin from the Dobson Site. I really like how you used blocks to represent chocolate, using the blocks helped to make the maths and the video make more sense. I like how well you thought this out it seemed like it took a lot of effort. It would be good if you ended with a summary to see what you learnt from this.

    Thanks from Lakin.
