What an adventure you have had on school camp. I wish I could have come too. I love your photos and especially enjoy seeing the spectacular scenery you are surrounded by. What a place to tramp and tent. I am about to go on holiday to the Palawan Islands in the Phillipines, and while I am there I am doing a 3 day tramp in the highlands. It is totally different scenery to NZ and in the pictures it looks like LOTS of rice paddies. It will be so nice to experience something different. How long did you tramp for? Did you have to carry your food and tents too?

    1. Hello Tania
Wow, that sounds like a great trip! We did 2 groups for 1 night each. It took the first group about 4 hours each way and the next group about 3 1/2 hours each way. It's quite a good wee tramp and a tiny hut (sleeps 6) which is why us kids tented. We all had to share taking in gear like tents, food, and gas cookers. Hope you have a great adventure. From Jess
